A Divine Design In The Small 7

A Divine Design In The Small  7

I could write pages, books about the the wonderful designs in Nature.  Which, what should I capture, record with my i Pad, a twig, a branch, a leaf, a tree,  a valley, a lake, ... just on my way to the country? I don’t know which is the number one, all are number one. There’s no second. Otherwise, my eyes fail to see it.

Of the spider who spun its own thread out of her body, so light, so thin, thinner than the thinnest thread, yet so sticky,   floating it in the wind and somewhere fastens it. She walks, runs on her thread. Then somewhere in the middle of her thread she releases another thread, and another thread. She starts from this middle, to walk a little circle, sticking, her thread, on the threads then bigger and bigger circles till it becomes a spider’s web so strong, her prey  so helpless, wouldn’t be able to free itself.  She never falls as she’s always saved, hanging on her thread.

Of the bat, though not a bird, who doesn’t err flying in the dark and sleeps hanging, not feeling tired, upside down.  Of the wonderful designs of myriads of species.

Of the delight of hearing water gurgling, splashing, roaring, seeing it rippling on a lake. How wonderful to see, to feel the dew on the grass, watch clear water in your hands. Of the rustling wind waving trees, the paddy fields, ...

Designs of the sun rise, sun set, of the sailing moon, clouds, of the seasons, of land and sea, of night and day, of male and female, of happiness and sorrow, of life and death, of ...

A Divine Design In The Small  5

What is that mysterious thing that enters so subtly into the stuff that makes it come to life and grows, then, when it so subtly leaves, becomes stuff again.

A Divine Design In The Small 4

It takes billion years of evolution time to create a chicken, yet a chicken does it without doing anything except brood her egg and hatch it, to become a baby chick. Just imagine, complete with all the wonders of having eyes. ears, a beak, tongue, legs, wings, lungs, bones, flesh, blood, intestines, a voice, ... life, just in 28 days when there was only an egg before.

A Divine Design In The Small 3

A Divine Design In The Small 3

I wonder why a goat who eats grass doesn’t err to become a horse or a buffalow who also eats grass. Only later did we know that their DNA regulated this. What a revelation. When, who first created the DNA?
