Delightful Meeting
In Old Age
“As I hear your
voice then through the telephone, I picture you as Muliani, not Mrs. Muliani,
not as Dr. Muliani, but Muliani with a lovely angel’s voice, so feminine, so
calm, so delightful to the ear.
I’m lucky you
can’t see me as I look like a scarecrow.”
That was his
introductory speech through the telephone.
He hasn’t to go to
the clinic. He was allowed, to have his psychological consult by telephone in
one of Jakarta’s hospital, due to his high
age and difficulty in transportation.
And musing, he
would afterwards call her at the Hospital and tell: “I just wanted to say
Hello. Charge me this as your consultation fee without an appointment. Ha. Ha.”

Why I Keep Silent
Why I Keep Silent
I certainly am very
grateful reading, seeing, hearing someone’s great post, picture, song, thought,
though I keep silent. I would thank him, I could kiss her in gratitude, were I
invisible as angels and fairies are.
Otherwise would I allude
to his/her beautiful post without revealing their identity.
I am averse to praising
into someone’s face, which is like “cari muka” as Indonesians say, a "licker", or
to solicit a praise to myself. Yet, would I
praise someone with a very poor performance to encourage him or her to do
better.
What’s the honor
praising, quoting a great, famous name? It takes courage to openly not agree,
or not like him, her. What, were it God?

teacher rejected her to join her class and now she’s 81, singing, her lines so
lovely without singing lessons, loudspeakers, just recorded with my I Pad. Unless,
… you certainly must be deaf. Ha. Ha.
