Why Do You Hurt Me?

Suddenly she cried and with her loving, lovely eyes looking up at me, her eyes so sadly said: “Why do you hurt me?” as I tripped on her feet.

I then cuddle, fondle her to make up for my wrong and she kissed my hands,

my dear doggy.

Whose Is This?

Everyone is of him--, her-self. It is their fundamental right.

Yet, “I’m yours” a lover says.

Her lover playfully asks:

“Whose nose is this?” pointing to her nose.

“Yours.”

“These cheeks?”

“Yours.”

“These lips, hands, ...?”

“Yours, yours, yours, yours, yours, ... I’m yours.”

Something like that I remember was in an Indonesian Film. So beautiful, so wise.

So, when a lover doesn’t love you anymore, he or she would stop giving her, himself to each other. It’s their right. They can’t talk, tease each other anymore and might leave each other.

You have no right on a woman or a mother, unless she herself gladly, happily gives herself to you.

The “Golden Sowers”

There was a bouquet with lovely “Golden Sowers” beside a garbage bin at the road side.

How hard is it, to have the courage to pick those thrown away lovely flowers, walk home and place them in a place of honor.

Kiss Me

Said the prince: “Ask, what you desire?

A wedding ring? A grand wedding celebration? My vows? A palace, an island, …?”

“Kiss me, that’s all I ask.”

How wise. So she said in a film I remember.

Joys On An Empty Purse

What a joy, delight for people on an empty purse,

fishing here in Pantai Indah Kapuk

with your bekal i.e. your parcel,

eating with your fingers,

your tea out of a small plastic bag sipping with or without a straw,

enjoy sitting the whole day long, even without catching a fish.

A Fond Memory After My Biking Trip

She sits patiently waiting, looking at me, a lean lady of the street in Pantai Indah Kapuk.

I opened my picnic but she is watchful and kept her distance even when I took her some rice on my lunch box cover to share it with me.

She eats by dainty bits, clean as a lady should. When I offered her something of my coffee milk, she refused, and went away.

Luckily enough we didn’t become good friends. I thought, what if she runs with me, all the way some 15 km and on top of that, refuse her a home while I have three already.

*****

Then, as I was sitting, I saw her peeping.

Oh she is so beautiful, irresistible, enticing, tempting as she peeps through the grating, kept her face out and up for anyone outside to kiss or pluck her.

Just guess, imagine. She is … Flower Shoe.
