Scraps Of Beauty In My Workshop
I don’t need to visit a concert-hall to find beauty. I can
find, hear scraps of beauty in my workshop, during our - old agers - vocal
exercizes.
Though certainly not perfect, still rough, a bit out of
tune, yet there are some wonderful lines in it, I can’t but fall in love with
them. This is “Londonderry Air”. I intentionally have them sing slowly to enjoy
their voice, feeling. Both are wonderful in their own way.
This is the younger singing, “Drink To Me Only With Thine
Eyes”. A very early, poor recording with my i Pad.
And this is her old father, aged 81 singing “Amazing Grace”.
I would very regret were they lost.
So said the Choir Conductor.
