Joys Of Old Age
I see, hear, “read”,
enjoy more about what happens, is, around me, you know? I am richer in thoughts,
imagination, have a better, truer judgement, am more daring to refuse, in
expressing my thoughts, ... Moreover, I can afford myself to be a bit foolish,
of still falling in love, rather than looking intelligent, wise. Ha. Ha.
I now realize what
someone said that in younger years, one views life through a key hole, but in
old age through a wide open door.
So said Pak Arif, (he is an eighty-er now) to
me.
